Timeless Elegance: Simple yet classy wedding gowns for the every day bride

When it comes to wedding gowns in Ghana, we typically see two main types: the highly detailed, sophisticated, and often uncomfortable gowns that, while beautiful, can be quite impractical, and the more affordable, but less desirable, options. Occasionally, a bride stands out in a simple yet classy and elegant gown, which fits her perfectly and radiates comfort.

These intricate and elaborate gowns can be very expensive, making them unattainable for many brides who aspire to that look on their special day. The concept behind this shoot was to bridge the gap between these two extremes by featuring two distinct gowns in our Lookbook. The first gown is from a UK brand Shein, and the second is a creation by Ghanaian designer SL Manera.

Our moodboard aimed to showcase two types of gowns that are budget-friendly, beautiful, and versatile enough to be repurposed after the wedding. We wanted to emphasize that a gown can be minimal, simple yet elegant, classy, and timeless. Our goal is to inspire potential and soon-to-be brides to see that simplicity can also be stunning.
